Statistician or Mathematical Internship In Riga Latvia

Latvian center of scientific research in the field of neurophysiology and psychophysiology located in Riga is looking for a statistician and Mathematical interns to work with them for 2 months, 20 hours per week.

Tasks Include:

• Identifying and evaluating suitable technology solutions
• Designing and developing a data warehouse for analytics
• Applying appropriate design patterns to practical problems translating them into working code
• Reviewing and summarizing data to create information for visibility and process improvement
• Acquisition and management, algorithm design, and model development & refinement
• Encode mathematical abstractions into prototype computer programs or models
• Interpret results and communicate them to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work collaboratively with other departments to disseminate critical information and develop strategic opportunities
