I am pursuing a bachelors degree in animation. I would like to study in either Japan or South Korea. I would like a program that either focuses on my major, or a program for the summer that helps me learn more about the culture of the country I decide to go to without having to transfer credits. Any suggestions?

Hi Danielle,

I hope you are doing well. AsiaLearn has some great summer programs in Japan (Beppu), and South Korea (Seoul) however they do not offer animation courses. Here is the link to these programs for you to check out.

http://www.asialearn.org/search/programs/programID481/ - The Japan program offers a smaller selection of classes but does have a Culture, Society, and Media course that may be interesting to you.

We do offer a semester/year abroad (unfortunately they do not offer summer programs) in Malaysia that offers Graphic Design and Animation Courses.
