Hi,I'm a British citizen looking into maybe doing a TESOL or similar course to enable to teach in Asia. However, as I do not have a degree I think my possibilities may be limited. I have done research on various websites but I keep getting conflicting information.

Ideally my choice would be South Korea, but I have been told be friends who currently work there that I would need a degree. Is this definately correct or would a TESOL or CELTA be sufficient?

If I were to take a TECSOL course instead with the view to teach younger children is a degree needed, bearing in mind I am a native English speaker?

Is China the same, as I have heard a degree is not neseccary here?

Any first hand up-to-date help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Andy
