First of all, what backpack are you taking? If you haven't bought one yet you should be looking at ospreys. In terms of packing, pack light, and bring lots of synthetic clothes that you can wash & dry easily. There aren't a lot of laundramats in Haiti.

I would say actually pack light. How long are you staying there? Try not to pack that many things besides clothes - just the things that you'll find it nearly impossible to live without. I think it's wrong to bring a lot of things for yourself to an impoverished country. Good luck!

Thanks Go Tucker, I already
Thanks Go Tucker,
I already got my backpack on expedia at an awesome deal but thanks for the tip for next time.
What else aside from clothes should I take? Is there a technique?
