Global Nomadic - Manatee Rehabilitation Internship in Belize

Description:

This Manatee careership in Belize gives volunteers and interns the opportunity to contribute to the Global Nomadic Manatee rehabilitation project in Belize. Manatees have no natural predators, however due to reckless boating accidents and over-fishing, the Manatee population is in need of rehabilitation. As an intern in Belize, you will learn about Manatee preservation issues as well as take part in daily project duties.

This projects focuses on the serious task of Manatee rehabilitation, and while you will have free time, Global Nomadic is dedicated to meaningful and impactful projects.

This internship gives you the complete experience by providing you the opportunity to take care of Manatees while also supporting community education efforts so the local population is knowledgeable about Manatee rehabilitation.

Global Nomadic does not take a commission from this rehabilitation project, and simply asks for a small placement fee to cover your living expenses.
