Discover Buenos Aires
By Dave: My name’s Dave and I’m a New York City transplant who decided to make a lifestyle change and move to Buenos Aires for a year or two. My goal was to really experience a new culture and lifestyle, learn Spanish, explore South America and meet new people. So far, the move has been everything I expected and more.
Travel Guy
By Jon: In 2004 I graduated high school and at the same time my sister graduated from college. My parents suggested that we take a trip together and backpack through Europe for three weeks. This wasn’t the first time I had traveled outside of the country, but it was the first time doing so on my own, so to speak. Imagine what it was like for a 17 year old from a small town outside of Boston to see the Europe I’d always dreamed of visiting. The history, the culture, the languages.
Pine Tree Paradise
By Charles: Hi. I’m Charles Newbery and this is the gang behind Pine Tree Paradise – and those that swell my blood pressure, crack me up and befuddle me, often all at the same time. The kids get up to some wild stuff and I write down what happens.

A Gringo in Buenos Aires
By Anon: Our mission is to provide you with useful information that focuses on quick assimilation into the Porteño culture. Many familiar websites promote the same restaurants, bars and ‘cultural’ experiences, but cater to those locations where the gringo would feel most comfortable (and be surrounded by other gringos). We at A Gringo in Buenos Aires recognize firsthand that you must break free and live like a local to get the most out of living abroad.

Wandering Trader
By Marcello: I was 13 years old: working two jobs, going to school, and doing extra curricular activities like soccer and weight training. I was working for my freedom. Fast forward 5 years: I ditched the extra curriculars, only went to high school for 3 classes with on the job training, and worked 4 jobs. I was the obsessive salesman, a “fanatical entrepreneur”, I was working for my freedom.

Tourist2Townie
By Gareth: I decided to create Tourist2Townie.com. To connect with like-minded dream chasers, share unique travel adventures and provide inspiration and advice for regular people who wish to do remarkable things. This site is more of a social experiment and lifestyle design than it is a travel blog. It’s about people more than it is about places. It’s about chasing dreams rather than following the norm.
