Journalism Intern
This intern will work with our editing team to create unique content and articles for the site. Go Overseas is a leader in the online travel space. This internship is perfect for journalism students looking to expand beyond traditional print journalism. The Intern will be taught how to utilize internet marketing, social media, and keyword tracking to increase readership of their articles. Creativity and ingenuity will be rewarded with increased responsibility and creative license. The management team will work with the intern to build their skill set and identify areas of interest.
- Your primary job responsibilities will involve writing articles that fit within one of our several categories: life, study, teach, volunteer, or intern abroad. Intern will conduct interviews to create high quality pieces that will build on our authority in the travel space.

Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and any other relevant graphic design software. This intern will be responsible for improving the look and feel of our site. A talented intern could see their work on the site immediately. They will also contribute to the creation of sales collateral, newsletters, content for our social media platforms, and give input on site usability. The intern will manage our various social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest, and YouTube. This intern will continue social media best practices established by past interns and the management team. We will also look to this intern to seek out new trends and propose new social media initiatives. Goals for fans, followers, views, etc will be set and worked towards. The intern will also help manage Go Overseas Facebook advertising campaigns. The management team will work with the intern to build their skill set and identify areas of interest.
- Your primary job responsibilities will involve leveraging social media to increase traffic to the site and build knowledge of the brand. This will include: posting our unique content to the Facebook wall, building Facebook fans through contests and other creative means, managing our twitter feed, growing twitter followers, managing our YouTube channel, and more.

Web Developer/SEO Intern
- Experience in designing and building websites
- Experience with Drupal, HTML and CSS is a plus, but not required (experience with Joomla or Wordpress is also fine)
- SEO experience is a plus (if you don't have SEO experience, but are interested, you will learn a LOT in this position)

Multimedia Intern
The intern will work with multimedia of all types: audio, video, photo and infographics. Ideally the intern will be able to organize all phases of video production, including shooting, editing and post production. A working knowledge of relevant software (Final Cut Pro/and or Adobe Premier, Photoshop), camera operation, basic audio and lighting is desired. The ideal candidate must be flexible, and creative!
- Your primary job responsibilities will involve leveraging multimedia to increase traffic to the site and our social media outlets. This will include: supporting our programing team in perfecting the look and feel of the site, managing photo contests, creating travel-oriented videos to be hosted on the site, producing "how-to" videos, designing promotional and company collateral consistent with our brand, editing photos for use across a range of platforms, and more.
