AFS - High School Gap Year Program in Brazil
Spend an entire academic year exploring Brazil while being immersed in Brazilian culture and living with a host family. Students will attend high school in their host community, which can be either public or private. In a typical Brazilian classroom, you will likely study Portuguese, geography, math, and much more. Live and learn in Brazil as a well deserved break before you enroll in college. The local AFS chapter in Brazil organizes a variety of excursions for students to enjoy during their time in Brazil, including a trip to the Amazon, Iguazu Falls, and exploration of Northeast Brazil. These trips costs extra, but offer great value to complete your gap year abroad!
