Hands down it was the best year of my life! I travelled all over the USA and Canada, went to matches for all of the "Big 4" sport leagues, and partied at Coachella Music Festival with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

But the highlight by far was living and working at one of the world's biggest and best ski resorts, Whistler Blackcomb. And it was all made possible by The Working Holiday Club.

They had all the boring paperwork and organising under control. All I did was pay for the Powder Programme and the rest was sorted. TWHC arranged a job interview for me in my home city, guided me through the visa application process and were always ready to help when I called or emailed. As a result, I scored a job as a Lifty, a free season pass, loads of resort discounts and ski-in/ski-out accommodation on the mountain!! Even the tricky stuff like a bank account and mobile number were organised ready for my arrival to Canada. All of this was ready before I'd even set foot on the plane!
