CIEE - Duo Gap Year Abroad Program in Chile and Spain
Description:
Spend your gap year abroad in 2 of the worlds most fascinating and remarkable locations; Chile and Spain. CIEE has designed a gap year abroad program where you will spend the first 6 months waking up in the dazzling coastal city of Valparaíso, Chile. As Chile's most famous destination, Valparaíso provides an excellent Chile home-base at it is in the center of all the must-see locations. Valparaíso is 20 minutes south of its sister city, Viña del Mar, and the two cities are known for their vibrant and colonial-inspired architecture. They are both also sprawled across iconic Chilean mountainsides facing the Pacific Ocean, providing a phenomenal scenery to soak up the sun and culture.
The next 6 months of CIEE's gap year abroad program will be spent it idyllic and world-famous Spanish town of Seville. The Andalusia region of Spain, mysterious and subtle in its beauty, will surely leaving you with lifelong memories and amazing friendships. Spaniards are known for their friendliness and hospitality, which will be the perfect supplement for creating memories during your gap year in Seville, Spain.

Highlights:
CIEE requires participants in their gap year duo abroad program in Chile and Spain to complete at least 10 hours of volunteer work in the field of your choice. This will help participants to gain a deeper understanding of each culture on a developmental level.
Carefully chosen local families will be your home base during your time abroad. Meals and rooms will be included in the cost, so as to give you a glimpse at local life.
CIEE will provide 24 hour emergency assistance and support in addition to international medical care with the iNext travel card.
Language immersion program classes will be provided in both Spain and Chile.
