United Planet offers 6-12 month long-term volunteer projects in Costa Rica based on community development, educational projects, and environmental preservation projects. Despite being one of the most secure destinations in Latin America, Costa Rica has a strong need for volunteers to participate in a variety of projects. Volunteers can assist local NGO's, centers for the under-privileged and elderly, schools, and many more locations!

2. Fill out an online enrollment application.
3. Meet your gap year quest coordinator. Your gap year representative for your project in Costa Rica will contact you for further guidance and help you prepare for your project.
