Gap Guru - Volunteer Teaching Gap Year in the Himalayas

This volunteer teaching gap year program is intended towards teachers who are looking for a way to make a positive contribution to the local Himalayan communities. Volunteers will live in Himalayan villages and work at one of 10 schools teaching students between the ages of 4 and 16. As a volunteer, your job will be to design innovative ways for students to learn English as well as a variety of other subjects. Volunteers also organize other activities as well as arts and crafts projects to give students a well-rounded experience.
