Carpe Diem - Gap Year Program in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji!

Spend your gap semester Down Under in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji!

Carpe Diem Education gap semester in Australia is open to gap year, as well as college students looking for something different from a typical classroom education. The program’s first stop is in Fiji, where you will have the opportunity to explore local Fijian culture by living in a home-stay and getting involved in local community service projects; all the while enjoying the crystal blue waters of Fiji.

The next stop of the trip is in New Zealand, where you will attend a week of leadership school by taking part in a number of outdoor activities. Students also learn about environmental conservation as well as organic farming by experience the true Kiwi lifestyle. There is also room for a week of student planned travel in New Zealand before the next trip stop in Australia.

After spending a few days exploring Sydney, Students take part in an outback conservation project and learn about Aboriginal culture in Australia. The trip ends with 5 days of SCUBA diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
