JOB TITLE: EFL Program Director
GENERAL DUTIES
-Oversees operations of an English Language Program
-Implements and monitors EFL courses
-Creates strategic plan to develop program offerings
-Administers placement exams
-Develops and maintains strategic external partnerships
-Manages teaching staff
-Performs related duties as assigned
The successful candidate will perform the following responsibilities:
Fosters a safe and supportive learning/teaching environment for teachers and students: creates partnerships and customized programs; initiates program development; carries out program evaluations; serves as a resource for EFL instructors within the program; manages personnel issues, including classroom observation and evaluations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree related to education; 1 year experience teaching EFL; proficient in English and intermediate level in Spanish; ability to work in a multicultural setting.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications:
Master Degree related to education, more than three years experience in English as a Foreign Language(EFL), one-year commitment; a proven-track record in a leadership position; flexibility with regards to studentes/staff/parents/community/schedules/environment; superior communication skills in bothe English and Spanish.
