A1 Language School is a small, private, buxiban (also known as cram school) located near the Hsinchu Science Park. We are a ten-minute walk from the train station and a five-minute walk to the FE21 mall. A1 was founded in 1993 by Teacher Bob and Teacher Sharen; it’s one of the first after school English programs in Taiwan that is still owned and operated by a single family. A1 is known for its tight-knit community and focus on K-6 students.

We are looking to hire energetic English teachers with some classroom experience. Interested candidates should be comfortable creating lessons and worksheets that scaffold students’ learning based on their prior knowledge. We are especially interested in teachers that focus on project-based learning and experiential learning. Our goal at A1 is to prepare students for their English exams at school, which focus on grammar and spelling, as well as increase their confidence when speaking and listening to native English speakers. There are no Taiwanese co-teacher in class.
