Inside Indonesia
By Gerry: Inside Indonesia was set up in Melbourne by the Indonesian Resources and Information Program (IRIP) in 1983. This was a time when the mainstream media in Australia included very little information about Indonesia. The diverse group of academics and activists involved in the establishment of Inside Indonesia wanted to provide an antidote to that situation. In particular, they wanted to provide information about the growing numbers of people and organisations in Indonesia who were involved in attempts to bring about social and political change amidst the very repressive conditions at that time under the Suharto regime.
From Bali With Love
By Anna: My blog journey has been an interesting learning experience. I originally started my blog, in 2007, as a way to document my love for travel. During my pregnancy, it became sort of a bulletin board for anything and everything that interested me. Now, I'm focused and committed to using my blog as an outlet for all things I love about Indonesia and that inspire me. I share expat experiences about life in Indonesia, as well as my passion for food, photography and design.
Indonesia Matters
By Anon: The site's primary themes are Indonesian politics, culture, religion and religious freedom issues. Additionally there are more light-hearted pieces on popular culture and current events.
Jakarta News
By Luke: I live in Jakarta and this is my journal of adventures, observations and musings as I continue to dwell here. Read and comment or just read. I don't mind but do stop and stay awhile..
