About Program
Intern in Dresden, Germany with BU Study Abroad! Boston University Study Abroad offers courses in Dresden at the prestigious Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) along with internship opportunities. Students take a core course during the first phase of the semester and learn about German culture and language. This program is designed for students with advanced skills in German, which they can take to the next level with the intensive German language and culture course. During the second phase of the semester, students enroll in their internship course as well as begin their internship. Internships are available in a variety of fields, and students are encouraged to learn about the different opportunities available every semester.

- Options! Students can choose from an internship in the field of Law, Theater Studies, Public Relations and much more! Placements are contingent upon availability and qualification.
- Academic development! Students enroll in a BU Study Abroad internship course along with their placement which will weekly reinforce skills learned from their internship.
- Professional development! Students will be placed in a challenging internship, and they are encouraged to make the most out of this experience. Students also give a presentation at the end of each semester about their internship.
- Support! Students receive support pre-departure from BU staff as well as support upon arrival in Germany. Check the BU Study Abroad website for more details on deadlines and instructions on the application process.
- Location! Students take weekly field-trips to explore Germany. A combination of old and new Europe, there is so much to explore in Germany during your time studying and interning abroad in Germany!
