A non-refundable confirmation fee secures internship placements (through paying for costs associated with placement set-up, donation to host organisation, and airport pick-up). A programme fee of $180 a week covers accommodation, 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner), airport pick-up and orientation.

About Program

ACIPP Ghana Human Rights Programme & Legal Internships are hosted at the Human Rights Advocacy Centre (HFAC). A non-profit organisation, HRAC's mandate is to promote, advance and protect human rights in all of Ghana. Some activities in which the organisation participates are human rights advocacy, research into human rights issues, pro-bono litigation, amongst others. Current ongoing projects focus on many diverse areas including Gender-Based Violence, Prisoners, and LGBT rights. Interns will be working and assisting both the Projects Department as well as the organization's Legal Department, working in many tasks such as conducting legal research and preparing research reports, as well as Assisting and contributing to project research.
