Come2England: More than an internship

Now that my experience is finished I can say that Come2England really do a very good job. I was living in London for two years, one of which I've been a waitress. When I looked unlikely to get an internship in my area (Marketing), I met Come2england and in less than three weeks I started my internship. The customer service is great and they are very concerned about all you needs.

Come2England was very helpful for me. I was very tired of looking for a internship by myself without good results. Everything changed when my friend recommended me Come2England. They really know how to do their job and found internship for me. Now I'm working in the industry which i was dreaming all my life. Now I belive that if you really want something you can do it. Sometimes you just need ask for help.
Costumer service was brilliant so every contact with them was pleasure for me.

I was looking for internship abroad but it was not easy to find a job, place to stay plus my english is not the best.

I contacted come2england and they explain me and help me with everything.

Giada was very helpful and always replay to all my questions. She introduce me few companies with who I had skype interviews and check which of them can help me develop my skills the most.

Then I decided to choose company related to my study which is designing.

When I come to London I was completely lost, but team of come2england been really helpful. The member of their team who speak spanish as me make my life easier.

They as well find for me accommodation which was absolutely one of the best things. I have a river view, weekly cleaner and in the apartment was gym and sauna! Yeeey

That was experience which will influence my future career. I built my portfolio which I can show my future employer.

Come2England was entirely responsible for the administation of my grant, provided by the Leonardo programme for accommodation and subsistence. Part of the money was used for the rent of my room in a place in terrible conditions where there was no hygiene and no privacy, the landlord was disrespectful and I had to solve many big problems every day. When I asked for your help I was told I was simply lacking adaptability. When the contact person gave me the money for my subsistence I immediately found out a huge part of the grant was missing (£508). Only after several requests of transparency I came to know part of my grant was used to pay Come2England for its assistance. According to the training agreement I had signed with my sending organization, the expenses of accommodation and subsistence should have been covered by the grant but I had to rely on my own my money instead. The organization Come2England found for my internship was bad managed, I had no tutor, no clear taskk and I did not get any training experience. The contact person never helped me in any single aspect concerning working issues.

I participated in this program in 2013 when it had been recently created. At first I thought it might be a bit troublesome but I decided to take the risk as it was really cheap and I had my parents financial support.
Surprisingly, I found the experience to excess my first expectations. The staff (specially Giada who speaks my language fluently) was really nice and caring, and the company in which they found my internship (a football club management company) was the best environment for me to start my career. They were completely multicultural and in some cases the work was challenging, though I always had my superiors support. I totally recommend Come2England, they are very serious and professional people.

I had only 15 days in order to find an internship, Come2England did find in a couple of days.
I did a couple of interviews over Skype and I chose the perfect company which did match my studies.

The accommodation was fantastic, very clean apartment, river view with spa, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna.

I always wanted to do my internship in London, and this program helped me with this.

As recent graduate in marketing I wanted to gain experience in that field.

Thanks to support of the staff in Come2England I got opportunity to get extensive training in one of the Marketing agency based in central London.

I have learnt a lot already. Before I didn`t know anything about SEO, Google Advertising, content management now I am able to set up my own campaigns.

I am happy with my internship and looks like the employee as well.
Hoping to get the job with them after I finish.

As the headline resumes, I expected a different thing. I expected to be placed in a company directly related with one of my professional competences, and in which I could have some opportunity when my internship period finishes.

I think the time Come2England had for the company/organization research and my own CV, English level (even if it's not proficienty, is quite good and fluent), and competences don't match with the ONLY place that it seemed came out.

I expected more interviews, more options, and other scenery for my internship.

All I have just said, was said with all my respect for the organization I am doing my internship in: what they do is really interesting, and there are many professional people working there. The disappointment is about the match Come2England made between the organization and me.
