Jordan-oholic
By Rani: Jordan-oholic is a term we derived to demonstrate how anyone can show obsessive interest in Jordan, be addicted to Jordan, or love Jordan to excess. like other terms: workaholic, chocoholic, or shopaholic. we just added the suffix -oholic to country name Jordan-, to show how much we are passionate about our beloved country Jordan; thus, you can tell that you don't have to be purely Jordanian in order to feel Jordanoholic; Jordan easily gets you addicted to it :)

Shoofeemafi
By John: This is as much a blog about Amman as it is about me – the people, the art’s and tech scene, figuring out how to use my crappy camera, learning new things, and trying to keep the pace in this charming relentless gem of a city.

Bibs, Babs, Bobs in Amman
By BBB: We arrived to Jordan in January 2010. Even though both Bobs and myself have been expats most of our lifes - by that I mean not living in the country where we were born - well moving to the Middle East was a very new kind of experience. We both call it our first expat experience.

And Far Away
By Roba: ‘And Far Away…’ was started in mid 2004 as a place to save ideas that motivate, inspire, or touch the imagination of Roba. With time, an Arab blogging community emerged and as a result of interaction with other bloggers, the space became more personal. The Jordanian blogging community could be accessed at JordanBlogs, and the best of the Arab blogging community could be accessed at toot.

Amman Adventures
By Leslie: We are an American family of four living in Amman, Jordan. This is the fifth country my husband and I have lived in and the third for our children. We love living abroad, although it is not always easy to be away from our family. We have two daughters that attend an international school here. This blog was started to keep friends and family updated on what we are up to.

A Song in the Desert
By Julie: I graduated college and packed my bags to head to Jordan for 2 years. With no return ticket home, I’m attempting to learn Arabic and figure out how I can best honor the strong passion I have for this region and her people. As I slap at Arabic, and get slapped by Arabic, I’m growing deeper in understanding and appreciation of what it means to love my neighbor. Learning what it means to live a life greater than myself is turning out to be an overwhelming challenge and I continue to fail at it; yet, as a rock can be chipped away to reveal a dormant diamond, I’m praying that I, too, am being chipped away and refined to be a better person through this adventure.

Stories From Jordan
By Beth: Stories from Jordan is about the journey and adventures our family is experiencing in our new land of Jordan. I plan to keep my family updated with our day to day activites with the use of this blog. I hope that this will keep our family and friends close to our hearts and near to our experiences. I also want to use this blog to inform those who wish to be informed about the country of Jordan and its people.

My Treasure
By Kinzi: I’m an American mom married to a Midwestern Man (The Hub), riding out some wild times here in the high desert of Amman, Jordan. We’ve got a bunch of kids, but we call ours ‘kounouz”, which is Arabic for treasures. We’ve been desert city-dwellers for a fair long time now, and we sure like Arabia and it’s people.

Apricots Today
By Apricot Lady: I'm a wife of an ingenious guy and a mom of two kids who has been transplanted from the Mid-West to the Middle East. We've lived here on and off for 7 years and are still learning new things everyday! I hope you enjoy a chuckle with me and get a picture of the delightful, beautifully different Arab culture that we have the privilege of living in everyday.
