The Maple Bear vision is to combine the best of Canadian educational practices with a child-centred system in order to bring Canadian early childhood and elementary education to students around the world.
We believe this can be accomplished by focusing on language acquisition and development, literacy, English-language arts, mathematics, science and technology, creative activity, physical skills and well-being, and finally, personal and social awareness.
Maple Bear schools offer full Canadian programs utilizing Canadian methodology and curriculum developed by our own experts from the ground up for pre-school, elementary, and middle school.
There are currently more than 100 Maple Bear Canadian schools in nine countries.The head office of Maple Bear Global Schools Ltd is located in Vancouver, Canada.
Maple Bear schools are all newly built and very modern. The classrooms are bright and cheery and there are many resources for teachers to use for daily lessons. The curriculum has been written by Canadian teachers/administrators and is creative and easy to follow yet also allows for teachers to make it their own. This was my first teaching position after graduating from Teachers College and I felt both supported by fellow staff and school administration as well as the ability to be creative in my lesson planning.
