WEP International - French Language Study Abroad Program

Want to learn French in a more hands-on environment? Well, check out WEP International, a global organization with more than 20 years of experience in the education abroad field! WEP offers three distinct study abroad programs in France all of which focus mainly on honing French language skills through full immersion into the culture. Students stay with host families and, depending on the type of program, receive private French lessons. The steady exposure to the French lifestyle will not only sharpen the students' French, it will also teach them about France's rich culture and history. WEP members can choose from the following study abroad programs.

WEP International Study Abroad Programs in France:
* Family Stay: This program requires a time commitment of at least a week, and is open to anyone 14 and over. Its aim is not to have members take language courses but rather, learn French by partaking in the day-to-day activities of the normal French family.
* One-to-One: Like Family Stay, this program also requires a minimum duration of a week and is only open to those 14 and up. However, this option has the host family provide at least 10 weekly French lessons.
* Language Buddy Program: Unlike the other programs, only 21 and over individuals can take part in Language Buddy and they must commit for at least a month. Language Buddy is focused on more reciprocal education so students not only learn French, but they also help their host family with English language skills.
