Interstudy by ISA in Dublin, Ireland: University College Dublin
University College Dublin (UCD) is Ireland's largest university and is a dynamic, modern institution. The main campus is at Belfield, an easy 2.5 miles bus ride south of Dublin's city center. It is a beautifully landscaped 300-acre campus with strikingly modern buildings. Students must choose one main school in which to take courses (Science, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Law, Sports Management, Nursing, Pre-Med or Engineering), but may take one or two electives from other schools.
Dublin boasts a great combination of traditional Ireland and modern Europe. It capitalizes on local attractions all over, like fashion boutiques, clever restaurants, bookshops, street markets and more, many of which are located in the Temple Bar area. Dublin maintains one of the youngest populations in all of Europe, granting a great social atmosphere for any student.
