JCMU Study Abroad Programs in Japan

My understanding of Japanese is not, and has never been, all that great. That aside my time at JCMU was very enjoyable. Most of the locals did not speak English and going into town was difficult at times, but the program itself was very helpful. The rail system made visiting all parts of Japan VERY easy and I was able to travel to both ends during my stay. Day to day activity included class essentially from 9 to 12 and then free time for the rest of the day. The homework was not excessive but did take several hours each day. The holidays were hard but that is not program specific. The staff was generally helpful and the teachers were always willing to lend a hand.
