Description: 

Study abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico with the Center for Global Education. Multiple programs are offered in the fall, spring and summer. In the fall, students can take the Crossing Borders: Gender and Social Change Social Change in Mesoamerica program or the International Business and Global Citizenship program. In the spring, the options are Migration and Globalization: Engaging our Communities or Social Work in a Latin American Context (only open to students in Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited programs).

I left this program inspired and filled with experiences and stories. The combination of academic integrity, experiential education, and the lessons of daily life played a huge impact on my experience. My host family for 2 months became a great support system, my internship at a local school taught me so much, and my fellow CGErs brought a richness to the learning process. Cuernavaca is a great place to study and to live; close to Mexico City, with a lot of history and culture. I left wanting more.
