Best experiences ever

Given that it’s my first time in South America this program helped me immerse myself in a new culture as well as get familiar and welcomed in the culture through the events hosted as week as visitors to new neighborhoods along side it being a Spanish class. I was able to really think, see, be like a local and create new memories with my classmates. I deeply recommend expanish as I really got to know the staff, teachers, classmates and locals around. I appreciate everyone and my time there. Missing everyone already.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
This can be something out of everyone’s comfort zone but bring yourself out in a new country is the best sedition you will have even if it’s for a walk around the corner or running errands around the neighborhood or out of the neighborhood.

Response from Expanish

Thank you so much, Juana, for sharing your lovely experience! We’re so happy to hear that your first time in South America was made even more special through cultural immersion, new friendships, and memorable experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
It means a lot to us that you felt welcomed by our staff, teachers, and community, and that you were able to live Buenos Aires like a local while practicing your Spanish. We already miss having you here too, and we hope you carry these memories with you wherever you go.
¡Gracias y esperamos volver a verte! :)

Comment on my stay at Expanish

I was very happy with my stay at Expanish and Buenos Aires in general. Everyone is very friendly and the Expanish staff helped me in every situation. My teacher Eduardo was really nice and teached us a lot! Especially my pronounciation increased through him. I met a lot of interesting people and got to know new friends from all over the world and I would do it again!

Expanish Volunteer Program

I just wanted to post a quick comment to say how much I loved my time volunteering with Expanish. They really looked after me from start to finish, which I feel is really important when you're in a new country. It was also a bonus being able to meet some fellow volunteers - I didn't know anyone else in the city so it was nice getting to know them. The volunteering itself was just what I wanted, an opportunity to get really stuck in whilst still being really well organised and having the feeling that you were in safe hands. All in all I couldn't fault it!
