Price Details

The volunteer fee of $500 a week includes your stay at the volunteer house (with a private pool and close to the beach!), transportation from and to the airport, and two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).

About Program

We are 1Planet, a unique organization for placing volunteers in positions innately suited to their interests and values. We specialize in environmental and animal welfare concerns. We have partnered with the Animal Rescue Fund of Rincon, Puerto Rico to socialize street dogs or "satos" for adoption in Puerto Rico and the U.S mainland.

We have also partnered with Surfrider Foundation, the Rincon chapter, to assist with water monitoring, beach cleanup, and near shore recovery in an unprecedented effort to effectively track bacterial contamination of tidal environments.
