If you're already worried that you won't be able to make it through just 10 months, you may want to reconsider teaching abroad, or at least committing to a full year at a school. Most schools hire for a minimum of a year, with the expectation that you'll honor that commitment, so it would be pretty unfair for you to commit to a longer program if you don't think you'll actually follow through on it.
If you'd rather just do a few months, you'd probably be better off looking into teaching at an institute, or participating in a short-term volunteer teaching program that only asks you to make a 2-3 month commitment.
