Hi Harriett,
You should absolutely follow your dream of teaching abroad! There are actually many programs that would love to have an experienced teacher your age. While some programs do have upper age limits, plenty of other program providers welcome teachers and volunteers of all ages, including GVI, WorldTeach, IVHQ and even the Peace Corps!
