Find Out How to Get a NAFSA 2017 Conference Discount

For the third year in a row, Go Overseas has partnered up with NAFSA, a leading conference in international education, to help make attending the conference even easier for professionals in the field. In 2015 and 2016, the Go Overseas-NAFSA partnership to encourage international educators to attend the yearly conference helped numerous professionals attend the conference who might not have otherwise been able to attend.

Two NAFSA 2017 Discounts for Attendees

For NAFSA 2017's conference in Los Angeles, California, we're continuing that pledge by offering two NAFSA 2017 discounts that you can apply to your registration (terms and conditions apply):

  • A 20% discount for non-member, first time attendees: GOSEAS17
  • A 20% discount to become a first time NAFSA member: GO17MBR

The NAFSA 2017 Annual Conference & Expo registration goes live on March 1st and the early bird special deadline is April 14th. You can purchase your ticket up to the day before the first day of the weeklong NAFSA 2017 conference (May 29th) and you can also use the discount code up to that point. But to make the most of your experience, you’ll want to start planning soon.

Still on the Fence? Why You Should Attend NAFSA 2017

So why should you make sure you take advantage of these discount codes by attending NAFSA 2017 in Los Angeles? To make the decision easy for you, we came up with a list of five reasons for why you should go.

1. Business Growth

You'll have the ability to create university partnerships, form connections with international educators, and brainstorm ideas on how to expand your school or company.

2. Professional Networking

Rubbing shoulders with all of the most innovative and driven leaders in the field will contribute to your professional knowledge and skills. And as we all know, there's no better connection than an in-person, face-to-face connection.

3. Conference Hype

The excitement of being with so many like-minded people all trying to help students study abroad is truly exhilarating. The Go Overseas team especially appreciated this aspect of the NAFSA 2015 conference, and enjoyed sharing our enthusiasm for international education with others in the field.

4. Learning Opportunities

Between the speakers, plenary sessions, and 400+ exhibitors, you'll have the chance to learn valuable professional development skills, trends in international education, and be exposed to new ideas. Be sure to bring a pen -- you'll want to take notes!

5. Play BINGO and Win a Scholarship for Your Students

The last two years, we ran a BINGO game throughout the conference week to encourage participants to interact with different exhibitors. BINGO players had to go around to different booths and learn about the companies behind them in order to get a box marked off. At the end of the week, we drew a winner and gave them a $5k study abroad scholarship to give to their students. This year, it could be you!

Say Hi to Us While We're There!

Go Overseas will be at booth 1511 this year, visible from the main entryway. Feel free to stop by or schedule a meeting with us or our partners! Mitch, Tucker, and the rest of the Go Overseas team will be there to say hello. While you’re there, you can pick up a bingo card for the chance to win that scholarship.

For NAFSA 2017, we’ll also be joined by some partner exhibitors:

Hope to see you there!
