About Program
Welcome to the Pacific rainforests and beaches near Corcovado, one of the most remote parks in Costa Rica! As home to one of the largest tropical lowland rainforests in the world, the Corcovado National Park is the primary habitat of hundreds of endangered plant, bird and mammal species, particularly the bat species.
As a volunteer, you'd join our bat studies, which focus on the bat's echolocation, one of their most unique biological aspects, in order to monitor their abundance and diversity on various man-made trails in the forest.
