The Junior Art Club is looking for individuals who want to dedicate about 3-4 hours per day to an international social research project in Italy. The project is divided into two phases. The first phase involves conducting community-based research on existing social programming in Tor Sapienza and surrounding areas, communicating with people, attending meetings, researching funding programs, opportunities, and community resources, producing short project briefings, and fostering the participation and leadership of affected community members.
The second phase involves collaborating to develop a sustainable strategy to run alternative social programming. Apart from volunteer work, participants can also attend social activities, such as the Tor Sapienza Festival, and excursions to various archeological sites in Ostia, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum in Rome, and the Vatican.
Use of photography, video, writing pads, tape recording and other tools for gathering data are allowed.
- Spend a few weeks in Rome carrying out a variety of volunteer work.
