Outward Bound Semester in Ecuador

Video and Photos

In the wilderness, your best self becomes second nature.

Unlike survival, compassion isn’t always our first instinct. But what if it was? In the wilderness, and in life, compassion is the source of our resiliency. It reveals our best selves in the best and worst situations. Semester, Outdoor Educator or Pathfinder expeditions reveal who you are and who you want to be. Start your journey now.

Ranging from 30 to 81 days, our Ecuador expeditions are unique and challenging adventures. Comprising of sections that take place throughout the West and overseas, students learn to be climbers of rock, ice, canyons and towering peaks. More importantly they will learn how to be the best versions of themselves.

While in Ecuador, students will have the opportunity to complete service projects, experience Ecuadorian culture, and summit ancient volcanic peaks.

Certifications include: Leave No Trace, Wilderness First Aid and/or Wilderness First Responder.
