The UnCollege Gap Year Program is a 9-month program designed to equip young adults with the necessary skills to succeed in the innovation economy. Students have an opportunity to learn by doing - traveling the world, working at innovative companies, and developing relationships with mentors. The program is divided into three phases - an immersive service learning experience abroad, a skill-building module in San Francisco, and a professional internship - each lasting approximately three months.
UnCollege supports people who want to take control of the way they learn. We help them develop the skills and habits to become more effective at living the lives they want to live.
By the time the program concludes, UnCollege Gap Year fellows will have created a portfolio that showcases their skills and abilities, gained relevant work experience, built a network of connections, and developed the skills and habits that will be a foundation for their success in college and in the workplace
