Ceiba: Semester & Summer Experiential Service Learning

Ceiba is an experiential learning program in Antigua, Guatemala for teens - a transformational mix of community service learning with an online distance learning component so that students stay current with your home-school curriculum. (Note that summer students engage in longer field trips and are not required to complete online coursework.)

With the guidance of Ceiba's Education Mentors, students are encouraged to develop identities as global citizens through profound cultural and language immersion and the reflective confidence to engage all kinds of communities with respect, patience, and an open mind. Added to all this is adventure learning trips around Guatemala, from ancient Maya through to the present day.
