About Program

Study in a local Lithuanian school and see what daily life is like for students in Lithuania. Whether you are in a regular school or the specialized basketball program, studying in a Lithuanian setting is sure to add some extra interest to your school work. Outside of school, your host family will help you adjust to your new environment and introduce you to Lithuanian culture. As you begin to have a better grasp of the Lithuanian language, you'll feel even more connected to your host family. From beaches on the Baltic sea to bustling cities, Lithuania will capture your heart.

Love Basketball? Consider coming to Lithuania on the basketball program. YFU participants will live with a carefully selected host family, attend a secondary school, and enroll in a specialized basketball school after your studies are complete for the day. You will train and play competitive team basketball three to five times per week. Visit the YFU website to learn more on this specialized program.
