Why did you pick this program?
I chose this program because it was required for obtaining a 6 months visa to China. I compared several programs but this was the only one which was either affordable and flexible with the times since I was doing my bachelor's thesis in China. In addition it was recommended by another student.
What do you tell your friends who are thinking about going abroad?
Just do it! Traveling is a great experience and will boost your personal development.
What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?
Enjoy it and have fun!
What's your favorite story to tell about your time abroad?
There are lots of great stories like meeting lots of new friends that I am still in contact with.
The greatest advantage I had were new experiences in my hobby photography since I saw lots of places that are so different from German places.
What is something I may not know about China?
I can recommend to sometimes travel alone since you're free to do whatever you want to and don't have to pay attention to others.
But you also should be aware of strangers that want to trick you. Be sensitive to this.
