Ash is a passionate Surf Coach based in world famous Bondi Beach.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Oh, there are so many! As a surfer, I would have to say that my favorite travel memory is surfing perfect Dreamland in Bali, all by myself.

The water is pristine, and the surf is amazing. I remember being out there very early one morning at sunrise. The surf was breaking perfectly, but even just sitting up on my board waiting for waves and taking in the landscape was so amazing.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have absolutely grown. I am definitely more confident and outgoing. Dealing with people everyday forces you to come out of your shell... in a good way. I am also more patient and understanding. I have definitely grown and feel like I have learned skills I can take to any job.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I once taught a woman who had breast cancer; surfing was on her bucket list. She was so stoked with the experience. We had a big hug at the end, and it felt so cool to be part of something like that. I feel like I’m lucky enough to have a few stories like that one up my sleeve. It’s an incredibly rewarding job.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Our surf school offers not only surfing but also tours, and if I could pick one activity we offer, I would have to say our Best of Bondi for sure. You get to experience a little bit of everything on offer in Bondi – a guided coastal trip and tour, a surf, and the likes at the icebergs. I think it’s a pretty great tour.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I have never worked with a more friendly and passionate team in my life.

I think as surfers, we love that we get to share what we love with you. Surfing can be a life changing experience. Our team knows how good our job is, and we pass on all our good vibes to you.

Working at Let’s Go Surfing is more like working with a big family.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think this is a tough one to answer. I do think there are definitely a few key ingredients at play here. We provide a fun and safe experience in world famous Bondi, but the experience wouldn’t be the same if our staff weren’t dedicated, passionate, hardworking, and very well trained. We have a very well-oiled machine, and our customers always leave with a smile on their face.
