institution with over 28 years of experience dedicated to the understanding of
languages and cultures of the Americas, is situated in Cuenca, Ecuador.

CEDEI’s English Program seeks qualified EFL teachers to start April 2021.

Cuenca is a city of more than 600,000 people and is the third largest city in the
country. It enjoys spring-like temperatures year round. In 1999, Cuenca was
designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and in the last few years has been
considered one of the best places to live and retire.

Positions available:
EFL teachers for children, teenagers, and adults (online classes)

Qualifications:
In particular, we are actively seeking teachers who can quickly learn various technology platforms and who are committed to teaching dynamic, interactive, effective classes online. At this time, we anticipate only offering online classes, rather than in-person courses, until at least June 2021.  

Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Be native/fluent English speakers;
Have a university degree;
Have completed a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA program (minimum of 100-hour program required, including class and practicum);
Commit to a minimum of three teaching cycles (nine months total); and
Have teaching experience (practicum hours or professional hours).
