About Program

As a volunteer in this unique elephant conservation project you will dedicate yourself to protecting Namibia's desert elephants.

To ensure that these beautiful animals – threatened particularly by the human-wildlife-conflict – can roam through Namibia’s deserts for years to come you and your team help to create a balance which meets the needs of both humans and animals. The project therefore aims at helping the farmers with development aid, schooling and training. Another task in the project is to build new and remote water holes for the animals and to show the local population that it is possible to live in harmony with the elephants. To collect information and data that help to develop appropriate measurements you and your team will also monitor them and observe their behaviour, population and patterns.

Become a volunteer with Natucate in this fantastic project, learn about the culture and natives of the country and gain deep insights into the spirit of Namibia!
