The company was a pioneer in Egyptian tourism, operating shore excursions for the largest clients in Egypt, including P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, and the British, French & American navies from 1955 through 1996.

Leading the way onto the Internet

Responding to drastic changes in the tourism market, Memphis Tours again became a pioneer as the first Egyptian tourism company with a presence on the Internet.

From 1996 to 2002, Memphis Tours was the exclusive Egyptian partner of Dunia.net, the first hotel booking engine on the Internet.
