Minga Peru

We are Minga Peru, an award-winning non-profit working in the Peruvian Amazon & other parts of Latin America, and we have launched an exciting new program called Minga Tour— to share with the world the positive social change that our women leaders, promotoras, have achieved in the Amazon. The program focuses on educational eco-tourism trips to groups of students into the Peruvian Amazon with additional packages that include trips to the historic cities of Lima & Cuzco.

Minga Tour creates an educational space for students, young & old, to experience our non-profit work towards social change. This is a fantastic opportunity for students of many social, environmental, and medical science fields to have a mutually beneficial experience with indigenous communities— in the spirit of our mission toward improving gender equity, environmental accountability, personal healthcare and preservation of cultural identity.
