Dear Go Overseas readers:

As the health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance to us at Go Overseas, we’re monitoring news and official sources regarding COVID-19, commonly referred to as coronavirus. The situation is constantly changing, impacting countries, study abroad programs, and international travel.

This is why we are writing today: to share information and tools with you so that you can make the most informed and best decision regarding your health, safety, and travel plans.

We recommend staying up to date with official sources such as the US Department of State, World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC). These global and national organizations have first-hand knowledge to stay abreast of any changes plus public health resources.

In addition to paying close attention to official advisories, we are continuing to maintain close contact with program providers around the world.

If you are considering traveling abroad or are currently abroad, it’s important to stay in communication with the program coordinators and follow current guidance from health and government officials.

Please feel free to reach out to us should you have any specific questions about anything mentioned in this email.
