Volunteering with Kukua Pamoja Tanzania was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I spent one month in Arusha working mainly with the Women’s Economic Empowerment Program – helping them develop their business plans, giving basic training, supporting the sales of handmade tote bags and sharing time with the young girls learning hairdressing and braiding.

During my time here, I saw first-hand how the program not only provides technical training but also teaches essential skills such as business planning, marketing, and financial management. The women gain not just knowledge, but also confidence and independence.

Kukua Pamoja is not just a place to volunteer, it is a family. You come to give, but you leave with so much more: meaningful memories, personal growth and the certainty that your time really made a difference.

If you are considering volunteering or supporting an NGO that truly creates impact at the grassroots level, I cannot recommend Kukua Pamoja enough.

Asante sana, Kukua Pamoja, for letting me be part of your journey.

Would you recommend this program?
