My Decision to Volunteer with Kukua Pamoja Was Truly the Right Choice

My decision to volunteer with Kukua Pamoja was right, and it turned out to be one of the most enriching experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for by the team and the women I was privileged to work with. The project’s focus on women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship is both inspiring and impactful.

During my time there, I was able to contribute meaningfully while also gaining new perspectives and skills. The organization is highly professional, and the on-the-ground support made my stay smooth and enjoyable. The food was fantastic—delicious, fresh, and prepared with care—which made me feel right at home. The accommodation was comfortable and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after busy days of volunteering.

I also appreciated the opportunity to explore the local culture through various tours arranged by Ayoub, the Director which enriched my understanding of Tanzania.
