Was Barcelona It?

Barcelona is the city of many dreams, I heard a lot about it and I decided it was my time to try it out. I flew in the fall of 2025 to start the best journey of my life. From the food, to the locals, to the classes, and to all the international trips. I started off solo, I eventually met my roommate and from there we locked in a very solid friend group. From our many inside jokes, to the sleepovers and the study sessions. My study abroad was something I never wanted to leave. Every day a new memory formed, from getting my metro card stolen ,to ending up in the ER to then catching a flight 2 hours later. The memories I experienced were some I will always hold dear to my chest. The sights I saw were unlike any other. The languages I learned were so helpful. The classes I took actually challenged me and I had to take time out of my day to actually do my homework. My apartment was gorgeous and we had a huge TV, my roommates were awesome and my favorite coffee shop was right around the corner. The metro was my favorite part of the day (except for the traffic at 5 pm). The people I met and the conversations we would have. At the beach all the people coming up to you and asking questions. My experience was one of a kind, I took my time exploring and when it ended, it was like I left a piece of my heart in a different country. Never take it for granted and do everything you can.
