CCSA Australia 2016: Connecting Two Continents

Video and Photos

Australia offers a different perspective on familiar views. Australian theatre and film stars dazzle American audiences while the rough and seemingly untamed natural splendor draws Americans to a distant land. In this program, you make connections between American and Australian movies and theatre and learn how each teaches the other to tell their unique stories. We’ll also explore the origins of the Australian culture and landscape through the hand of drawing and the lens of digital photography. The theatre course appeals to students in theater and history programs, but is open to anyone interested in media. The art course appeals to art majors as well as anyone interested in photography or digital video.
