About Program
The Center for Engaged Learning Abroad, CELA Belize, provides study abroad courses, carrying three credit hours per course. The courses are offered during the winter and summer breaks and are two weeks of intensive study. Students can take two courses to stay in Belize for four weeks. Our courses are Large Animal Vet Practices, Wildlife Health, Ecology and Conservation, Tropical Marine Ecology and Conservation, Watershed Ecology, Conservation and Management, Global Health: Biology, Medicine and Public Health in the Tropics, Health Belief and Ethnobotany in Belize, and Indigenous Resurgence and Sustainable Development.
