EIU Study Abroad: York University, Canada

Study Abroad in Toronto, Canada with Eastern Illinois University. This short 10-day trip in May takes a variety of approaches on studying the children and youth school systems of Toronto. Apply your professional skills to children from Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and aboriginal nations, speaking dozens of primary languages.

Supported by the Faculty of Education at York University, studies will focus on schools within the community, equity, ESL, ELL, multilingual approaches to literacy, and religious accommodations.
