About Program
This two-week Basic to Brilliant Cooking Course will transform your approach to food. Week one provides the foundations, knife skills, food management, kitchen hygiene, menu planning and essential recipes, perfect for beginners or those wanting to break old habits. Each day starts with a morning demo, followed by elevenses courtesy of the Duty Team, before hands-on cooking in pairs and a delicious lunch. The afternoon brings another demo and more practice, with our recipe book as support, not a crutch. By the end of week one you’ll have cooked a wide range of useful dishes and gained the confidence to cook without recipes. Week two builds on this with advanced techniques, international cuisines, dinner party dishes and how to cater for dietary needs, plus more complex meat and fish preparation. Flexible teaching means gaps can be filled and no question is too small. Whether you want to become more confident at home or impress guests with creative cooking, this course has you covered.
